While she was Out

When my daughter whisked away to girl’s camp, I recalled how I had so wished we could surprise her by getting her bedroom floor in, during her FSY church youth camp. So I ordered it then, being told that it…

Garden Therapy

Gardens are so symbolic. Its hard to get out there ankle deep in dirt, with plants so dependent of the right conditions, to not begin making connections to life. So, let’s DIG right in. Playfully. Do you like or dislike…

How do we get Delightful + Easter to Marry?

I don’t know about you, but Easter sneaks upon me as a stealthy thief in the night. Something about its do-si-do-ing between April and March. Compared to Christmas, why is Easter Jipped? It’s such a pivotal holiday, nothing in the…

About Me-Emmy!

Hello, my name is Emmy Gay, and I'm an old-fashioned girlish woman- which by me--is only great! With my husband, I'm a boy raiser and have two girl-graces. A teacher by training and heart-gift, I'm married to an Engineer. When I sing, dance, play, laugh or at least inwardly chuckle, my life quickly gets a whole lot happier for me, and all those around me. So, if you want to, come join along side me, and see if together, we can't bring a little more pause and lightness, to all that is difficult and serious in our days.
